Installing Ubuntu 7.10 on Macbook pro (Parallels)

So earlier today I was trying to install the latest version of Ubuntu 7.10 on my Macbook pro with out any success.
Turns out there are some issues with the VM machine and memory, by setting the VM to use only 512MB instead of the 1024MB I had alloted first time round the installer process now [...]
