Thanks for this great script. I've hacked it into a form whereby it can be added to the Finder's toolbar so you can simply click a button to launch it. The file and a guide on how to change the icon can be found here - http://dream.adeli.ca/archives/posts/finder-button-to-showhide-hidden-files-in-os-x/

thank you!
silly ole me deleted a 5gb iphoto library while networked. When attempting to copy the clean library from one computer to the other, i got the "not enough space" slap! then i went on remembering the file vault is using more space etc.... msg. So i rebooted and nothing!... again nothing!!!! ... even went to copying phony data to fill the hard disk... still nothing at rebooting...
never thought i had to be plugged in!!!!
Apple every so often frustrates me -and here it did- yet i kinda like this silly security add on. Glad i found the resolution on your site... Did not succeed on Apple's. Perhaps after giga diggings.

Wow, some great photos, I love to find photos from Co. Clare, as I live there. I am big into photography and love the magic of the Cliffs on a fine day. Thanks for sharing you photos, Cliffs and Aran Cruises

TortoiseSVN has an Export utility that lets you push a folder from your working directory to a non-revision conrolled directory. It's very handy. It turns out that this is just a GUI over the SVN command line task. You should be able to also use the following:

svn export PATH1 PATH2

I suggest that you make a review of BugWiki sometime in the future. I think BugWiki has a different and interesting approach that will appeal to certain people (like myself). https://www.bugwiki.com

Wow, that's insane. You'd think that parallels, or Ubuntu or _someone_ would be a little more considerate and make it easier.

I remember seeing a page some months ago that had some trick where you told parallels you were installing Solaris (I think) and the visual would be fine, then once you get thru the install you reset the paralles details to Linux 2.6.
I guess this doesn't work for the new version of Ubuntu...?
